Postgraduate studies

I told you before that I would like to work for the children of the SENAME, my intentions are change that institution because the kids can't live safe there, they are in vulnerated situation and I want to change that. So, I would like to take a course that gives me the tools for that.
I hate how SENAME is only a punity institution and don't make the children in the future can be integrating in the society, they always are marginated, segregated. one in two prisoners was in SENAME in their childhood or adolescence. And because of that I would like to do a post grade on social reintegration which help me to make a change.
Also, I would like to take a feminist and decolonial perspective in my career, but I don't know where is better to study with that focus yet. But I would like to take a postgraduate course in Chile or in Spain, if I take the course in Chile I would like to do it in University of Chile, but if it's in Spain I would like to do it in Completeness Madrid University, because I think these universities are good in Social Work or better do in a blended system. I would like to travel to other countries to know more about Social Work and applicate that in my work

  2. SENAME is an institution that does more harm than good, and like you I think that should change.

my quarantine

These months have been difficult for everyone. I really miss my boyfriend, friends and family. It’s hard be away from them. On the other hand, having fun while I'm locked up, it's also difficult, because I miss going out for coffee, going to the movies or anything else. Now I must entertain myself with the kitchen. Make some coockies, cake, bread and a lot of delicious things it’s my new hobby. I also learned many vegan recipes, which help me to stop animal consumption, although I am not yet a vegan at all. And if you want to learn vegan recipes I recommend you visit @lachanchavegana on Instagram, she has a lot of delicious ones.   I have also had a hard time following my studies, I have to share the computer with my brother which makes it even more difficult. But we both know this and have understanding with each other which has helped us a bit in the difficulties. I wish that the pandemic ends soon, and although the university was far away, I want to return. that was ea...

Until about 2 years ago I had the idea that my future job will be on tourism company and I will travel to multiple countries or maybe be only a makeup artist, because a I wanted to study these careers.  But since I study social work my vision for the future is changed. When I finish my studies I would like to work for the children in the Sename, work to change the system of that institution, even if that requires a long process because it is a political problem. I would like to work outdoor, work in the sectors where there are more children violated in their rights. I would like travel in my job not because before I wanted to study tourism, but to know more about social work in other contries, how are their institutions that work with children who are in a vulnerable situation to know things which help us to get better our institution. My parents tell me to work in places where the salary is high, knowing that my career is not that much money, but even I know I need m...
